The next generation Mercedes-Benz SL – code name R231 – is the sixth model to wear the 'Sport Leicht' badge since the first back in 1954. The Tushek Renovatio T500 – a supercar from a shed in Slovenia – is to get its UK debut at next month’s Salon Prive. Eastern Europe is starting to produce its own shed supercars, the latest of which is the Tushek Renovatio T500, a decent looking offering from Slovenia. Based on the K1 Attack kit car, the Renovatio T500 is the brainchild of former racing driver Aljosa Tušek with his Tushek Supercars company planning on a very limited run of just 30 Renovatio T500s over the next four years.
Chrysler Group is replacing its traditional owner’s manuals with DVDs and an abridged printed guide in an effort to reduce costs and save 930 tons of paper annually. Chrysler will see “substantial savings” from the shift away from paper manuals, which often had more than 500 pages, spokesman Bryan Zvibleman said. He declined to say how much will be saved by the change, which is taking effect with 2010 models.
